The programme at Genesis has limited spaces, as it is a developing one and there are few like it.  We therefore recommend early registration.

Step 1

When referrals or enquiries are made, we invite parents/guardians of students to visit and discuss their child’s needs.

Step 2

If we feel that we may be able to meet a student’s needs then we will make an appointment for the student to come in for a half a day.  During the half-day’s visit an informal assessment is carried out on the student.  A diagnostic test in English and Maths will be carried out as well as behavioural and other observations.

Step 3

After the initial discussion and informal assessment, if we feel that the school can meet the student’s need, we ask the parents/guardians to:

  • Complete a registration form (all registration, for September should be completed by 30th June for admission in September.  Registrations at other times will be dealt with based on date of application and space availability)
  • Provide a recent educational assessment/report on the student (must be less than 2 years old) or be assessed by Genesis in order that an appropriate programme can be designed and tailored to the student’s needs.
  • Provide a medical report using the medical form given by the school.
  • Present the student’s immunization details and birth certificate – all students must be immunized.
  • Pay a registration fee of $2000 -$4000 (includes cost of diagnostic materials).

Step 4

Once we have all the relevant details/documentation for your student and if you are successful in being allocated a place you will be notified by the end of July or at other times if we have available places during the year. You are then required to:

  • Pay all fees or enter a contractual  payment agreement at least one week before the start of term.
  • Attend an orientation programme.
  • Work together with the school in partnership to support your student’s overall progress.
