Ms. Donna Lowe
Donna Lowe is a graduate of the University of the West Indies in Jamaica with a first degree in Management Studies. She brings to school administration her strong business acumen, having run a successful manufacturing company for the past twenty years. With her passion being a love for children, in 2003, she, without hesitation partnered with CEO Pauline Beaumont to co-own Genesis Academy, a high school for intellectually challenged children.Donna later pursued her Master’s degree in Special Education from Nova University in Miami, Florida and; having worked closely with Pauline over the last few years has been Principal of Genesis since 2012. A mother of three, Donna credits her second child Jonathan who has a learning disability, as preparing her for this new role to effectively work with the parents, staff and children at Genesis. Much of the patience, insight, understanding and empathy required are due in part to her life experiences of raising, teaching and nurturing a child with special needs. Ultimately, with God’s blessings, it is her desire to serve our intellectually challenged young adults to live happy and productive lives.
